okay, so it costs $271 for this harness and ability? Then I have to install it?

Thanks for answering the questions and hopefully, it helped the OP, but I can't see myself spending that kind of money for such little benefit. Of course, I'm the kind of guy who would spend 130 bucks on a nav update, but to each his own, right?

Unlike Nissan factory integration, iSimple kit does NOT require the iPod / iPhone to be unplugged for you to use satellite radio (mine is Sirius). There is a toggle between SAT, AUX1, AUX2, IPOD (these options show up on the screen and not to be confused with the physical AUX button on the dash).

My installer told me that he searched the website and printed out an install sheet for Infiniti (it's laying around my trunk somewhere).

You don't use AUX for the iPod. You use SAT which becomes a function of the Radio AM/FM button when you hook a device into the SAT harness in your trunk.
Yes you can chose artists, album etc. and you can see the name of the Artist and song title on the screen while it is playing.
Here is the picture (again) from my 07 G35x SEDAN

I guess I should have been more specific. I was refering to having the iPod intergation when you have the factory navigation installed. On the part you posted up it states it will not work if you have the factory navigation. The only iPod setup I have currently is a RCA cable which pretty much means the aux setting and I can only use the volume buttons... So not much.

Sorry. Yes you are correct in that it will NOT work if you have factory Nav. The OP does not have it nor do I. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Perhaps the 'iSimple' ipod solution works if you have Nav.
Maybe dohturdima could shed light on iSimple with factory Nav. Will it work?

No worries man, I could have been more clear to start. So it looks like us 07' owners with factory nav are pretty much out of luck... oh well good thing I love my XM.
