Could you activate the backup camera when using the turn signal?

I searched for this question before I decided to make a new thread.

Would it be possible to activate the backup camera when a turn signal is used? How about when just cruising?

Im envisioning a modification to the lens for a wider angle view. Even sitting here describing it I can see the obvious drawbacks (distracting, cant be the only source of information about your surroundings.... a head turn to look for cars in the blind spot would still be necessary). So maybe not such a good idea in implementation... but still, anyone know or can point me to a technical thread about the backup camera feed?

Thanks

The service manual will tell you which wire is the one for the reverse switch. They vary by specific models too. Not sure what you will gain by doing this though.
