FlyAudio all-in-one GPS headunits

Has anyone seen these FlyAudio units?
I have sent emails to them and to one of their authorized retailers in Toronto.
I asked if they have something for the 2nd gen G35/37 Sedans/Coupes.

They have this unit for the 09 Maxima's.

Here is demo of the Lexus unit. No idea what it costs.

Does the 2009 maxima have the same embeded climate controls as the 2nd generation G35? I'm guessing not. This is probably why they were able to replace the head unit in the maxima with this.

Yeah, I see. I would like to know how they accomplished this. If what they say on their website is true, this is what we've been waiting for in regards to a headunit replacement/alternative. in effect, their system comes with it's own climate controls built in the unit. that must be tres expensive I imagine, but ****, I'd jump on one if it was available for the 2nd generation. If it's doable in the Maxima, i'm sure it's just a matter of time before one comes out for 2nd gen G35

Remmy, you've got that right. As you know, if we wanted the 'real thing' ordered after market it costs over $4500 just for OEM parts and you still need to rig the harness. That is the definition of ridiculous. I mean, for goodness sake, it's a Sat Nav/DVD player and a touch screen
I'm liking your carputer more and more each day.

Part 1. is $3334.83, lol

Still no word directly from Fly Audio but I found this...also for the 09-10 Maxima for $850;
http://www.caradvanced.com/products/...eady,-etc.html
I checked out my friends 2010 Maxima (non-nav) and everything displayed on his LCD is identical to my 07 G35X. Radio,Sat,Climate Control, Settings etc. It's all the same.

Now THIS looks much more promising (not to mention affordable). Did you e-mail/get a response re. whether it would work with our Gs?

Isn't this the same Fly Audio unit with just a diff interface? I like the Fly Audio interface better, but I could live with this one for much less

The TPMS view that they offer is pretty cool. $850 isn't too terrible.
