so i googled around and checked here and over at myG37 and i really am not finding the info i'm looking for.

i recently installed the USA Spec PA15-INFI since i had to get rid of my iSimple gateway. it sounds good but i've got a couple of issues...

* the unit doesn't charge my ipod touch 2G, although i thought it would. this is probably solved using the scosche product but its just annoying.

* no matter how i arrange the dip switches i can't seem to change tracks via the steering wheel buttons and be able to change playlists. it seems they are mutually exclusive and the setup procedure did not seem to work.

i found another thread where a poster said he was using the following dipswitch arrangement:

1 - off
2 - on
3 - on
4 - on

when i tried this the unit just didn't work and also cut out my satellite radio. right now i'm using it in "preset A-B-C" mode:

1 - off
2 - off
3 - on
4 - off

now i know 1 is for aux input (which i don't use) and 4 seems to be for direct control but for some reason i can't seem to find the right combo for switches 2 through 4 to display the song title on the stock screen and allow track switching via the steering wheel. anyone? or is there an easier way to set up the unit from the get go? (vs. the factory procedure)

ok, so as an update i was able to get the setup to work, where preset #1 is for playlists, #2 is for artists, etc. but i haven't been able to get the song title to display where the XM information displays, nor can i switch tracks with my steering wheel controls.

any ideas?

dips were set on mine like that. I have sat on my car so I was able to keep my sat radio working. the las dip sets the ipod to go to ipod direct mode. hope this helps!
