OEM Vehicle Alarm Impact Sensor & AfterMarket Options?

Hi Guys,

I recently installed the factory OEM Alarm Impact Sensor and was wondering is it possible to add a second Alarm speaker (like aftermarket alarm -siren), a piezo in car speaker and a blinking LED?

Any thoughts?

i gotta believe it's possible but i'm not informed on the factory wiring so i couldn't exactly tell you how to do it...

but i have to ask, why a second speaker? 1 isn't loud enough? lol

I would like something more than the horn. If it is possible, instead of the horn going off I would prefer a more audible "alarm".

um, well i gotta believe it's easy enough to do. if you installed the OEM sensor what i would do is find whatever wire the signal goes out on to actuate the factory alarm and use it to drive a relay to run a speaker or something off of it. this would give you the horn and the speaker. if you just want the speaker then go into the factory harness and clip whatever wire goes to the horn circuit from the alarm brain and just attach it to a 12V piezo speaker.

as for the LED....i dunno....you could just tap 12V off the alarm sensing circuit and mount an LED bar somewhere....that way whenever the computer is waiting for an alarm input you'd have the LED lit. i don't have the diagram in front of me but ill look at the factory wiring tonight when i get home.
