Installing Component Speakers in front door

Picked up a set of Boston Acustics 6" component speakers.

Looking for ideas on where to mount the cross over.

Also has any one run new speaker wire to the front doors? was it possible to get them thru the existing loom/channel? or did you have to drill new holes?

Thanks
Mike

Did you get BA Pro60SEs? Here is how another memeber mounted them in a 1st Gen Sedan, the crossovers are huge.

Yup got the Pro60SE. Cross over is pretty big but its actuall two parts that can be split if need be (one tweater - one for woofer). MB's I had in my last car were even bigger.

Thanks for the pics. Hate too pull the door apart more then I have too so was trying to have a game plan before diving in.

Also noticed the stock harness to the door looks like it may have a connector on the car side. I think its more then a simple rubber loom. Thats going to make routing new wires interesting. Hate to re-use the stock wires but I may have no choice.

Thanks again
