07 Bose system with aftermarket amp/sub
07 Bose system with aftermarket amp/sub
Hi all, I have a 2007 G35S sedan with Bose system and I'd like to add an after market amp/sub combo from my old car. I've been doing alot of reading about this and I just wanted to clarify a couple things.
My amp is a JL 250/1 and it has differential-balanced inputs so all I should have to do is splice a pair of RCA's into the stock system. I'm not really clear on where I should be splicing in tho. I have all the wiring diagrams, just point me in the right direction!
Also should I be using twisted pair RCA's or something different?
Thanks

^Just out of curiosity what size and OHM subs are you running? The twisted RCA's are fine. i don't remember which wires to splice into but I know PAC has a unit that you can connect to the radio (some sort of Hi/Low converter) that allows you to set the balance on the amp.
bump! From my reading, I'm guessing i should splice the RCA's in before the bose amp. The RCA's that I bought have two wires within each cable, power/ground. I'm guessing that i combine the power from both and the ground from both and slice that into the wiring harnesses +/-. Can anyone confirm this?
