"the middle" v-2.1

Just picked up my new car which = new equipment.

Need some help picking new amps- Should I go Phoenix Gold/small form (Alpine) or something like a Zapco....thoughts? I'm very hesitant about buying any of the new PG amps...SD or TI.

Looking at Dynaudio or Focal for speakers.

I just picked up pretty much the exact same car (08 G35S Liquid Platinum) as you this afternoon. My last vehicle was all about audio, and I'm going to try and hold back for a bit on this new one. I worked at a audio shop for a college job and accumulated a few too many audio toys.

I have all Rockford fosgate power series amps i was able to get for a steal, along with the 3Sixty.2 processor. If you havn't looked at Hertz speakers, i highly recommend checking them out if you have a nearby dealer. They are owned by Audison. Really nice sounding speakers, but like focal and Dyn, they can get pricey.

I have not used any of the new PG amps, but from the few small form alpine amps i have used, i havn't seen any problems from them.

I am leaving the bose system the way it is for a bit, but its really missing the low end i had before. I think im going to keep the 3Sixty.2 and the T400.2 i had on the rear speakers in my last setup, and just add a simple bass package with 1 10" ported in a month or two.

Good luck on what ever you decide to go with.
