Any way to get Pandora to play on Iphone4

through the Ipod connection on an 08? I just bought the car and bought the cable. My Iphone hooks right up, but goes straight to the music. Is there a way to allow me to either get into Panora Radio on my Iphone or even the movies (while parking brake is on)?

FYI, you're not allowed to discuss the forbidden mod here ( to get movies to play with your parking brake on). otherwise, when you hook up the iPhone can't you pause the music and click the home button? then you can run pandora.

if that doesn't work have you tried playing the audio over bluetooth yet?

I understood we can't discuss the forbidden mod. On that one I just wasn't sure how to get the video to play with the brake on. I will try pausing the music and hitting the home button, but thought my ipod screen froze once it was connected. Are you talking hitting pause on the ipod, right?

you're right, i misread, my mistake. i'm not sure about playing video through the cable (i don't know if the car supports it), i am forced to use the aux input.

Jeff92se - i'm not sure, i have a base model, but i want to believe it's possible. usually it's as easy as firing up the ipod app while the phone is BT connected. that's how it works on my parrot BT system anyhow.

Don't think our cars support the correct protocol for using audio music through bluetooth. You can however this this adapter (I have one, I never use it tho)

http://www.amazon.com/Sprint-Bluetooth-Receiver-Connector-Speakers/dp/B003V1619E http://www.amazon.com/Sprint-Bluetooth-Receiver-Connector-Speakers/dp/B003V1619E

if you dig around you can find them for 20-30 bucks.

Underneath where the iPod cable plugs in, you should see the red/white/yellow composite cable connection. You can buy a $3 cable for your iPhone with those connections and play pandora through the aux setting. I still think playing my my high-res audio tracks sound better through that cable as opposed to the iPod connection.
You can buy the apple certified one and then play any of your movies through the phone(Netflix and YouTube included) only while the parking brake is on. Or if your phone is jailbroken, the non certified cable will work fine.
