Of course if you've got an iPhone 4S, you know if you hold down the home button, you are presented with Siri and from there on you give your voice command, "Call ___, Schedule ___, What's the weather like?"

I have an iPhone 4. It's got similar functionality, you hold it down and you can ask to call anybody in your phonebook, play a certain song, activate genius. It's basically Siri without the bells and whistles.

Is there any way the car's 'call someone' button be linked to that home button functionality? That way you wouldn't have to program all of your friend's names in the car BT system. It'd be great if it could stream music from the phone via A2DP and you can vocally change tracks, perhaps with one of those aftermarket BT adapters in the AUX jack?

Any ideas? Has anyone else used the functionality? Try it out if you've got an iPhone 4, it works pretty well!
