Iphone 4 Video

Just recently purchased a 2007 G35S 6 speed non-nav and have been searching and learning new things ever since. I am now looking into displaying my Iphone 4 onto the screen (while stopped with the hand brake on yes. I know the bypass can not be discussed here). I bought a cord with the three A/V plugs from RadioShack and the music plays and sounds awesome but no video. Thankfully I have this forum and found that the specific Apple composite AV cord is needed.

So before I order I just wanted to make sure I am thinking right. If I order this cord:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC...co=MjAyNDI1OTU
then I can plug in my iPhone 4 to it and be able to play audio/videos and what not through the screen?

Thanks for the help, I know this topic has been beat to death but I wanted to double check before buying.

Well the more I look it appears to display the iPhone screen on there I will have to jail break my phone. So without jail breaking, I will at least be able to play sound and video correct?

The cable alone will only let you output video by apps designed to output video. e.g. default video player.

Jailbreaking allows you to install software like tvout2, which will output *everything*, including the springboard, etc.

So I bought the Apple composite cord (the one with the red, yellow, and white AV plugs and the USB plug) and have been trying everything and still can't get it to work. Handbrake is on, I am using the Video app on my iPhone 4 and made sure to have the aux button pushed before plugging the phone in, etc. The sound is great but still no video on the screen. The screen continues to stay black. Any ideas on something else I can try? I've tried turning the phone off and back on but nothing changes.

Edit:
I've also tried Youtube with no luck.

Well I tested the cord on my TV and the video still wouldn't work so I got my friends iPhone 4 and tried it and the TV and car worked perfect. Not sure what is wrong with my phone but at least I found the problem.
