Running wire for subwoofer

I just bought an 07 g35X sedan without bose or navigation and would like to install a sub-woofer in the back.

Now I've found threads about running power from the battery and tapping into the rear speakers for the line out, but was wondering if I wanted to run the line out directly from the stock head unit can I run it along the power cable from the battery to the trunk?

Wouldn't that cause interference ?

Or should I be able to run the power cable along the passenger side and the line out along the drivers side to the trunk?

Why do you want to run lineouts from the headunit? Tap the rear audio to/from bose amp and keep that bish cable as short as possible!

It's a non-bose car. I'll probably just splice into the rear speaker level cable as you mentioned.

I was just wondering about this today. If I want to put my sub in (Just bought an 06' 6MT yesterday) with my stock head unit, can I just put a line out converter into the head unit? Or would I do it from the amp? Anyone know?
