Hi,

I've searched the forum, looked through the service manuals, and still can't find what colors represent the rear left and rear right speakers.

I have a 2007 G35X without Bose or Navigation and planning to splice through the cable going to the door as shown on the pictures.





So far these are the 10 colors I have identified:

pink
blue
dark green
light green
redish purple
white
gray
dark purple
gray black
purple


There was one post by a guy awhile back who just tried to figure it out and blew out his system. I would like to try and prevent that.

 

Got this from the 2007 2nd gen G35 service manual for base audio without nav and should help you figure this all out...



DISCLAIMER: however as you said one guy messed up his entire system due to wrong wiring, so i have to say that i take no responsibility if you mess up some how or if this diagram turns out to be incorrect ... do at your own risk

 

I gave up trying to play around with the wires around the pillar. Too many air bag controls and I don't want to end up triggering something...

I didn't want to go from the front originally but ended up splicing into that controller you have pictured in that diagram anyway.

So far so good.
