Pro Clips USA iPhone 4 Mount
Pro Clips USA iPhone 4 Mount
Hey Guys, I've searched, but no answers. I'm wondering for the Pro Clip users in the 2nd gen G sedan, is the Pro Clip only able to be mounted on the passenger side? On the website it says to mount on the passenger side, but I was wondering if it were possible to mount it on the driver side of the car, which makes more sense to me as I can view my turn by turn navi on the iPhone.

Just got iOS6 and the navi on it is amazing, so I was thinking of ways to mount my iphone to my stock dash. This is exactly what I envisioned a mount for my iPhone should be!
Have any of you guys tried it yet? How is the sturdiness as this is my main concern??

I've been using ProClip mounts for a few years on several cars I've owned. All of them are pretty sturdy.
The mounts for the G35 are available on both the driver and passenger side. I prefer the driver's side because it is much more accessible without reaching over. Plus the text size is smaller, so it is easier to see when it is next to you.
Here's an older picture of my iPhone 3GS mounted on a 2008 Journey Sedan (the same mount -- and actually same holder -- can be used for the iPhone 4 and 4S). The link below also has specifics on the proper cable to get to support charging.

It seems like the passenger's mount will be more comfortable (it won't bother your right leg), doesn't it?
