New Key Fob programming - G35X 2007 Sedan help?

We have a 2007 G35X Sedan. My wife lost her intelligent key fob, we purchased a new one for $80 but it doesn't seem like the tutorial was for the push start models.

https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...e-key-fob.html

Can this be done with the G35X with push start? I really don't want to dump $130 for the dealer to program our new fob.

Any help would be great.

Cheers

Call a locksmith and have them program it for you.. It should cost much less than the dealer charges.. Not sure where you're from, but if you're near Chicago PM me and I'll help you out

Thanks for the tip Falcor. Perhaps locksmiths are cheaper in the US. I was quote by 3 here in Toronto, $150 to reprogram. I guess the dealership is the cheapest price unless somebody knows of a good place in Toronto?

Locksmith's can't program these, only a real dealer. Nissan will only sell the encryption smartcard add-on for the Consult III to actual dealers - having a consult III by itself is not enough

My dealer charged me $60 to program (they did not cut the key though).

Are you a locksmith or are you just going by what the dealer told you?

In all seriousness, I am a locksmith... While not every locksmith has the proper tools to program the intellikey to these cars, some like my business do.. While there isn't much I can do for you, unless of course you feel like driving down to Chicago : ), I'd be happy to help anyone local

Intelligent keys CANNOT technically be programmed.

The CAR is paired to accept the intelligent key. That is why all keys for the car have to be present when the car is reprogrammed. The ones that are not present will no longer work.

CONSULTIII laptops and software are available for those that want to drop that kind of money though. I'm not sure how the security cards for them are controlled by NNA though.

It's 2017 now, do we have a better solution than going to the dealer ?

I have a single key for my 2007 Infinity G35X and would like to get a spare one in case I lose the original. The dealer charges $120 for programming and $60 for the key fob. I am trying to find a cheaper solution. I have researched into the forum but could not get to the right solution of how I can do it cheaply. Any guidance would be helpful

Need help programming key fob

So I just picked up a 2007 G35x today and it only came with one key fob and apparently I have to stick into this thing into this little slot under the dash and that I also have to take it out and then take the little key out of it and put it into the doot to lock and unlock the car!!! and if that's no primitive enough the guy hits me with the dealer wants $200 to reprogram and that's the only reason he hasn't done it. I don't blame him I'd tell them to go kick rocks for that kind of money!! Anyways enough with my rant, my question is I live in the Chicagoland area and wondering anyone can help me out but I'd be very grateful anyone can point in the right direction. And don't get me wrong I don't mind paying something for it I have to just not $200 or even close hopefully. I just saw that I think it's Justin that said he's a locksmith and lives in Chicago and could help anyone's ever close. Now I think his post was from years ago now I hope you see this messsge or someone does that can help.... Let me know please. And since I'm new on this my email is guy13699@gmail.com

In all seriousness, I am a locksmith... While not every locksmith has the proper tools to program the intellikey to these cars, some like my business do.. While there isn't much I can do for you, unless of course you feel like driving down to Chicago : ), I'd be happy to help anyone local
