Garmin GVN52/GVN53 satellite radio feature

I am deeply considering installing a Garmin black-box into my 08 g35x (tech package, non nav). From my understanding the GVN 52/GVN 53 both have inputs for satellite radio. I have learned from searching that this may be the best alternative to listening to music while GPSing.

My questions are;

1) Can I use my G's factory XM radio set-up and connect it to the black box? (as oppose to paying $170 for the blackbox satellite radio receiver)

2) Will I be able to access this feature by guiding to the XM options as i would like stock?

Thanks!

Another brilliant idea i thought of;

Can this be used as an anti theft tracking device??? (writing down specific ID numbers on the GPS box, and being able to monitor it from a third party site? That would be great!

hey raptor, the GVN53 does have a sat radio input but i would highly doubt you can use the car's set up. it's more likely that the XM receiver in our cars is made to use the nissan CANBUS interface and you'd have to know how the GXM30 interfaces to the GVN53 in order to pair the two.
