Have an 07 sedan. Backup camera stopped working a while back. Noticed today that the backup lights are not functioning either. Checked all fuses in the battery compartment, all good. Same with fuses in driver area.

Any suggestions?? It sounds like it might be the 'backup switch'? How tough is this to replace? Where is it? And any idea what I would pay taking it in to have it done?

I'm having trouble finding the fuse diagram but I don't believe your brake lights and camera are on the same fuse since the camera is powered by the actual camera control unit, which I think is powered from the headunit. I'll have to dig up the manuals and check. Did you actually measure the fuse or replace it to confirm it did not blow?

If it's a reversing switch I think the one in our car is part of the shifter assembly, some cars have them mounted on the tranny. I'll have to look to confirm though.
