I've seen lots of discussion on CD Player issues with earlier models. I have a 2008 Sport and my CD player started making a mechanical noise and skipping when I changed CDs. It was fine the next day, but has started up again. It will eject my CD no problem, but makes a repetitive and continuous noise when I put it in CD mode. Anyone else had this issue?
I am in the Toronto area if you have and can make recommendations for repair.

 

It would probably be less expensive to replace the head unit. Keep in mind an aftermarket HU will sound a hundred times better and offer a USB connection so you don't have to worry about CD's anymore. Also blutooth for your phone so you can listen to Pandora or anything else your phone has to offer.
