AC blower not working
AC blower not working
Today my AC blower stopped working.
When i left home this morning everything was working fine, but on the way back there was no air blowing from the vents.
I feel some cold when holding my hand very close to the vents, so it looks like the ac itself is running.
At home i checked the fuses, both blue 15A blower fuses under the dash were broken.
I replaced the fuses, but that did not work, both fuses blown out directly when i pushed the starter button.
I ordered new fuses, thy should arrive tomorrow.
What is the first thing to try?
Take out the AC blower motor, and try to measure it, or run it at 12v directly from a battery?
I do not suspect the AC relay, normally a broken relay does not blow your fuses, if i am correct.

Did you check the FSM? I just did some troubleshooting of a fuse problem in my 06 and the FSM had a pretty good set of diagnosis steps to follow. I would measure the blower before trying to power it from the battery. If it has a short in it capable of blowing 2 15A fuses, something is going to get very hot very fast. But you'll even need to reference the FSM to know what to expect when measuring the blower.
