Disconnecting Third Brake Light

hi all,

my G35 Sport will be coming in later this week. I also have a OEM style spoiler from Dawn's that I plan on installing. Is the harness for the third brake light located in the trunk panel? I want to make sure I only have one center brake light once the spoiler is installed, therefore I would have to disconnect the third brake light.

Thank you.

Yes it's in the trunk. I had a spoiler added to my car and the dealer insisted on leaving both the rear window brake light and the spoiler brake light on. I just popped the trunk, removed the trunk lining, unplugged the brake light and I was on merry little way...

between amp and cd changer

I have a 2007 sport sedan with navigation and bose SOW. I put a factory-style aftermarket spoiler on a few weeks ago ($108 shipped on ebay) and disconnected the 3rd brake light in the rear window. The wire harness is located under the upper liner of the trunk. In my car it was sitting between the amp and the cd changer. It would have been real easy if the CD changer was not there, or if I took the liner completely off. I just let down the front of the top trunk liner and struggled for 5 minutes reaching my finger towards the wire before I disconnected it.
