I found this from an old thread. Hope it helps.

your next stud and repeat. it's a tedius process. don't bang on the stud
if it doesn't come out. Put some wd40 from the back and let it soak a little.

for the new ones, just pull the new studs from the back of the rotor
towards the front. you'll probably want to tap it from the back to
front. use a small piece of wood and mallet and tap it. don't bang
on it as you might damage the rotor and bearing... or just put your
lug nut loosely on the new stud and just pull until the stud is at least
1/4" of the way into the rotor. it will assemble itself into the rotor
when you torque down your lugs with the wheel.

i didn't want to deal with this since i use the stock wheels in the winter
and did the Kics 15mm spacers that comes with studs on the spacer.

Bringing this old thread back, I have lowered G35S with stock 18" wheels, do you guys think 15mm spacers would be a good fit all around?

Also, can anyone post some pictures of the 15mm spacers under the stock 18" wheels.

Thanks

Which size spacer works best on our car with 18" stock wheels? I'd love to get a set of spacers but I'd like to talk to someone who has done this. Pics would be great.

Kics does have a 10mm space with the studs built in.

Anyone have pics of a lowered 07 G using stock 18"s and 15mm spacers? Rocaveli mentioned that he couldn't use the Kics because the stock stud stuck out too far. I'm guessing this was trying a 10mm Kic and this wouldn't be the case going with 15mm Kics.

Is 15mm flush with the stock 18s and does it fit on a lowered G? I'm running Eibach springs.

Thanks.

Be careful, those Kics are not hubcentric and if you decide to go with them you should get the hub centric ring. I'm going to be putting on a set on Ichiba 10mm to go with my MSports, but I have to swap studs. The cool thing is the stock 17's on the X should look good with the 10mm spacer if i decide to put the stocks back on in the winter.

If you're not familiar with Hubcentric, search around. If you're going to use spacers it's recommended to use hubcentric spacers.

-Hub Centric Ring can be ordered seperately, it is recommended but not required.

ddubb,

I didn't even notice the Kics were not hub centric. Thanks for pointing that out.

I put 10mm Ichibas under the stock 18" front wheels last weekend. Looks much better.

Pics pics pics

Can someone do some pics? I've got an 07 g35s and i'm considering doing the Impul drop (quite minimal) and the 10mm spacers all around, also not too much. subtle, but tighter.

I'd love to see some pics tho!

I've been interested in getting the wheels a little more flush, need to see it first though!

In the instructions above, it states that you can do the job without removing the rotor. This is not true on the '07~'08 sedan. You will need to remove the caliper, bracket, and rotor on the front of the car.

I haven't dug into the rear axle yet.
