1 inch drop?

Anyone know of a 1.0 inch drop for the front? I'm ready to experiment (and be a guinea pig) if any one knows if the z/g35 coupe springs will fit on the 07 sedan or not.

I want to lower the front ~1.0 inch and the rear 0.5 inch, just to level it out and close the gap ever so slightly. I live in MN where the roads blow so I don't want to change the ride quality at all. Any ideas?

Only the Eibachs and H&R's are availible ATM. Those are over a 1 inch drop. No coilovers out at least to my knowledge. I went with the Eibachs and I am hoping for the best. I like out in NYC and roads are prob the worst you can find them.

your best bet would be to look through the 03-05 g35 sedan forum and do some searching about springs and drops. There have been lots of tests over there with various combinations of 350z and g35 coupe springs. Since H&R and Tein springs have carried over from the earlier g sedans, 350z springs and g35 coupe springs would probably work.

I think using the 350z springs up front and g35 coupe springs in the rear will give you the drop you are looking for. Certain model years are better than others though, and then there is something about "revised" and "unrevised" springs - so check it out.

I found a really old thread on this subject while I was doing research on drops because I'm still worried that aftermarket springs are going to ride too low for me. The 03-06 models did a lot of combo Z/coupe springs to give them ~1 inch drop in the front and then balance out the back. Someone did it earlier in the year with Z springs, and results were this:

Front didn't drop at all
Rear dropped nicely just under an inch

I can't believe the fronts didn't drop...and can't believe it worked on older models but not ours.

Can anybody confirm this? It was such a popular mod with 1st Gen model that it must not work or I'm sure others would have continued the trend with the 07.

Yeah it doesn't make sense to me as how it wouldn't work, just considering it was such a great option for the 1st gen models. Next option...well...csdstudio its time we just bite the bullet and decide between H&R and Eibach. I was almost considering Tein for a minute, but somethign turned me off of them...I can't remember what now...but something...
