Please keep us informed, since l too drive an x model, but am finding some slight problems finding springs that will work on an AWD model. Please keep us updated. Thanks.

hans127 indicates he has them on his car. I asked him to post pictures in this thread, but he doesn't seem interested.

He indicates the drop is very minor. Let's all pm him like crazy until he posts pics.

Good stuff, looks nice, very subtle drop.
Keep us informed as to how the alignment goes.

Im about to pull the trigger on these springs also. But have no clue what to do after the install. Do you guys think we would need a camber kit with this little drop. Also how often do you guys get alignment after getting springs installed?

we will find out if we neeed a camber kit in a couple of weeks once i get my alignment, puttin the springs on the back was a joke, its only one bolt after you take the tires off it should take about 15mins to change out the springs. The front took longer because there is 3 12mm bolts on top, then on the bottom of the strut you have to take off 1 12 mm bolt for the brake line, 3 14mm bolts for the lower strut bolt cover, and also 19mm for the lower strut bolt. So that takes about 15-20 mins each side after the tires are off, You dont have to use a spring compressor to take off the stock springs, there isnt much compression, so you can shoot them off. To put the springs back on i had to use a spring compressor because it was such a little drop. All together it took me like 2 hours.

Nice, subtle drop, exactly what I'm looking for as an alternative to the H&Rs & Eibachs. Definitely a consideration once I get my 19s.

Can you tell me what tools were needed? Socket sizes and etc? Also, did you have a spring compressor for the front springs? I've read from the forum that you can rent one of those from Autozone for free... if you're renting it only for 24 hours.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read this before post the above question.

So, 12mm, 14mm, and 19mm sockets were all you needed? Thanks for the info tho'. I'm trying to save a few buck by doing the install myself. If you can take a few pix when you to the alignment, can you take a few on where the bolts and stuffs need to be taken out?

Don't forget you can rent a spring compressor from AutoZone and a few other places if you need one.
