08 G35 with sports tire question

I'm not sure if I can switch to use the same size tire on all 4 rims for the sports tire. The stock tires are different size for front and rear, that makes it unrotatable, does anyone know if we can install same size tire on the different front and rear rims?

The front rims are also 1" narrower than the back, so I don't think it would be any good unless you could get 4 front or 4 back rims.

You could always purchase tires that don't have directional tread, that way you could at least swap the 2 rear and 2 front tires.

maybe buy another set of sport wheels, then mount all the 18x8.5's and sell off a set of 18x7.5 for someone with the 1st gen G35, or someone with a journey model that wants sport wheels and doesn't care if it's staggered or not...

I'm not sure where you are located... but you could buy another set of OEM's and then use the 8.5's with summer tires all around, then use the 7.5's with Snow tires all around in the winter. You could sell off the pair of 7.5 summers for a few hundred if the tread ware is still good.

I'm guessing they 8.5's fit on front & 7.5's can fit on rear... anyone confirm?

Yes. That would definitely work. Great idea.
