Dude, you need to relax and read what people are posting in here. It's normal and it's the nature of performance tires. They don't last as long. Some people last longer, others don't. It's entirely dependent on how you drive.

FYI, you might think you don't drive hard, but trust me, personal perception is not always correct. I didn't think I drive that hard. A bunch of my co-workers started telling me that I'm an idiot . When I was at a stop light next to another '07 G, I kept on smoking the guy, and I wasn't racing him. I was accelerating like normal. Until then, I thought I drove like everyone else. So I'm only expecting my summer tires to last 15k.

How is a spike strip going to help unless you have road hazard warranty, and even then, road hazard warranty is generally pro-rated to treadwear. (FYI, i realize this is probably tongue in cheek comment, but you seem to really think talking to the dealer will make a difference. Maybe it will, but most probably, you've got buyer's remorse about the tires, and chances are, you'll just have to live with it until it's time to replace).

Basically, you need to relax, take a breath, remember you bought a performance sedan with summer performance tires, and when you replace them, replace them with the goodyear all seasons available on tirerack that have 440 treadwear and go with it.

Me, I'll replace them with the RE050As because damn they're a pretty damn good tire.

I think the time has come for me to do some donuts or burn outs or something.

I've been spinning my wheels with the VDC off quite often now...

I have 24k on my oem tires and they still have just a bit shy of half the tread left. I only smoked my rear wheels once and I drive like a grandma on mostly highways.
