G35X 07 Brakes...

Well it's time to replace the brakes on my G but I've searched around a bit and can't really seem to find any info on replacement rotors. I don't want to go with OEM cause I can't really justify spending the money on OEM. If I can find something slotted that would be ideal. Thanks and any and all help is appriciated.

Honestly, theres no need in replacing rotors unless they are severely scored. Get OEM brake pads online, take it to a brake shop, have them resurface your rotors and put on the new brake pads and the brakes will feel brand new again. And no, it is not "ghetto" to resurface rotors, rotors are made to be resurfaced, with the exception of Mercedes Benz's.

Thanks for the reply. I actually left some info out that should have been included. I would like to have a slotted rotor because when the GF drives the car she loves to repeatedly slam on the brakes at high speeds. (100 down to 55...shes a crazy driver) I've been in the auto industry for a long time and have plenty of people including my self that can cut the rotors. I'm just looking for a replacement, slotted if possible. I've heard a few place that the 07 350z has the same brakes as the journey and x g35. If this is true I can pick up a set of slotted rotors for the 350z and be good to go. But thanks again for the reply...

Is your G a 2wd/4wd?
