So i need new tires...help...

Hey guys,
Ive been shopping around for tires for my G35S. I love the tires that are on it right now(OEM Bridgstome RE050A) but the treadwear sucks...BAD!. Ive considered buying another pair because theyre reasonly priced. But i really want Michelin Pilot PS2's. They make the 245/45/R18 tires but they dont make the 225/50/R18 for the rear. They suggested to go with 225/45/R18. They told me id loose about 1/4 inch from my sidewall. What do you guys suggest i do about my tire situation...?

There are a TON of threads on this if you search for tires (or check in that section). Long story short, I'm probably going to buy Pilots next time in 255/45/18 rear and 235/50/18 front (BTW, you meant to say "225/50/18 for the FRONT"). The specs on these are very close to OEM.

Try the 225/45/18 front 245/45/18 rear, you'll have alot to choose from.
You might consider the Nankang. Looks like a bargain for a summer tire
About $330 ($82each) for the 225/45/18~245/45/18 set

They seem to be well reviewed too
