Tire's on 18inch sport rims

would this size tire fit on all four of the sport rims?
Ecsta SPT ... size 245/45R18

Basically... wondering if all 4 of the rims are same size..cause i noticed the stock is tires are different size front and back...

The wheels are staggered but to answer your question... YES, that size would fit all around.

The wheels are staggered like i said... meaning that the front rim is smaller in width than the rear. I'm pretty sure its 8/8.5"... You can rotate the tire but you'll have to have them demounted and moved on the wheels, unless you get 2 new wheels that are the same size as the other 2.

7.5" Front 8.5" Rear so the diameters will be different. You need different aspect ratio tires to come close to the same diameter front and back. No rotation as stated above.

They will fit fine. 245/45/18 will fit on rim width range of 7.5 in. to 9 in. (front rim is 7.5 wide and the back rim is 8.5 wide). I personally wanted to retain some stagger so I put 245/45 on the front and 255/45 on the back.

ez-g,

I know they will fit but it will effect the tires diameter when you put the same size tire on two different width rims. I don't know how much the diameter will change but I know in my case, with an X that I wanted all tire diameters to be the same so the dealer replaced the 8.5" rears with 7.5" rims and the same tire size front and back. If he could have gotten away with just changing the tire he would have done that as it would have cost him less money.

with an X, i could see how you would be worried about this. But seeing as how the OP has a RWD model, it wont matter that he's putting the same size tire on staggered wheels.

The rim width will change the diameter by about 0.1 in. (the tire on the 8.5 in. rim will have about a 0.1 in. greater diameter than the same tire on a 7.5 in. rim). The stock sport tire dia. are 27 in. front and 26.7 rear (according to Tire Rack). So 245s all around will be much closer in diameter between front and rear than the stock sport tires.
