08 G37 Wheels on a 07 G35x

Any idea if I need spacers or any offset for this setup?
I just bought some G37 wheels on eBay and I'm curious if they'll just pop right on or if anything needs to be added to the setup.

I'd have to guess someone else has this same setup... right?

best to not use exact match wheels. You dont want any difference between the hoops on each corner. All the same is what they should be on an X

Okay... what? Hoops?

The 18's on the G37 Journey are all the same size and the same size as delivered on the 08 G35x Sport.
My question has more to do with the fitment of the wheel to the car and not the size of the tire.
All four corners are the same diameter... all the same size tires. Nothing staggered.

hoops = wheels. Okay, that was my concern. You cannot (shoud not according to some) run staggered on the X. I thought all the 37's had wider rears than fronts, but i may be mistaken. Just wanted to make sure you were warned. I may or may not have been sligtly inebriated at the time of last post. sorry.

I am waiting for my G37 wheels to arrive today!! I bought them on ebay as well. The standard G37 wheels are 18" and are all the same size. Perfect match for the G35x and they look great. Some guy on here has a post showing how they look. It is my understanding they fit perfect, no spacers etc.

I am keeping the stock 17's for my snow tires. I went this way since the sport package on the x is basically useless..

Did you get them for $1375?
You outbid me, you &^%$...

I ended up dropping $1500 on the next set, plus shipping...
Only 100 miles on them, so that's not too bad.
The wheels are $550 each, not including rubber... so either way, it's a good deal.
I am also going to use the 17's for winter rubber and will be selling the wheels my winters are on now to a friend, along with the original Goodyears.

I'm going with 18's because the 17's are just too damn small looking with too much sidewall... but I do a lot of miles on less than pristine roads, so 19's were out for me.
Can't wait to see what they look like!

Actually I got them for $1325 plus 200 bucks shipping....

Funny, they actually showed up a few hours ago. They must have around 100 miles on them. Look brand new. Can't wait to put them on the car if we ever stop with the snow.........

The 17's are way to small for the car. I figured I either go with the sport package and have to buy 17" snows and tires, or go with non-sport, and get new 18" summers. I like the coupe 18's better than the 18 sport personally. I also don't need the metal pedals... lol

I'll post pics once I have them on the car. My car is blue slate so should look great!!!

I just checked ebay... $1325 was the winning bid on the auction I lost.
I knew my direct comp would be someone from here!

I'm glad you mentioned the other thread, which in turn made me search again.
Now that I've found it, it confirms that there is no need for spacers, longer studs or any other concerns.

Looking forward to pics, so I can see what mine will look like too!

That's too funny. I also figured it would be someone on here.... Glad you were able to get some for about the same price. I'll probably put mine on in a few weeks. I'll be sure to post pics. See yah.

Well, the guy that I am buying the wheels from is pretty cool and has been upfront and honest with me, but he just dropped me some pretty bad news.
Turns out that while moving them around in his garage, one of the wheels fell over on it's face and got scratched up. He's sending a pic this weekend, but I have to be honest... I don't want scratched wheels.
Anyone corrected a scratched wheel and been 110% happy with the results?

Now, I may be forced to look elsewhere, and I really want to keep within the $1500 budget for 18's with tires installed.

Anyone have other suggestions???

That sucks. I would just wait for another set to show up on ebay. I think they show up a lot actually. The guy with the other post bought his a month before mine. At least I wont' be outbidding you next time....

There's a set on eBay now. 3 out of the 4 are scratched and it's already at 1300 with 2 days to go.
The real bummer is that I have a buyer for my aftermarkets and now that transaction is on hold too.
