Check out the Federal SS595 tires they get killer reviews form the hard-core drifters, so it should be a nice HP tire

I'm getting these soon and will be going with the same size all around 245/45/18

Michelin - I'm either going to put on Pilot Sports, or Sport PS2s.

EDIT:>> I lied - did a bunch of research and expected to buy the PS2s, but the best reviews were for the Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics - great wet and dry traction, and harder tread compound (45k mile warranty, which I'm assuming isn't going to happen, but hopefully they'll go longer than 10k).

Yes it is difficult to match brands unless you go oem or goodyear F1's... assuming you have the 18's ..

I for one will be going with an all seasn goodyear ... since that will allow me to drive a bit in the snow...

My car does not move in the lightest snow or cold weather...

My goal is to have new tires by December....

I have 10K on my car... and will have 25K by October, so i should need them by then... my tires still look great with the way i drive...

All highway..

I would either have to go stock to match the fronts or get all 4 of another brand. Thats just me though, I couldnt handle them not matching...

So is anyone not happy with Falken brand? How do they compare to Bridgestone? I saw a tv show like dateline about Sears and other tire type shops selling old tires. (some even 8 years old causing major blowouts).

I just replaced my stock rears with Goodyear Eagle F1 All seasons. The fronts are to be replaced on Tuesday when they come in at the shop I went to. I for one lilke the tread pattern on the goodyears, two I like the tread wear rating 420( like 84,000 miles) as opposed the the stock Brigstones 140(28,000), and the all around utility of the tires. I know they will not perform as well as a summer tire but they come very, very close from what I have read.

I installed the FI Goodyear All Seasons in November to prepare for winter here in NYC area. Not much snow, but I can report the Goodyears surprised me. Better than excellent in rain. Handling in dry and cold was almost as good as the OEM Potenzas. A little chatter on extreme slalom moves, which I didn't experience with the Potenzas.

I will probably switch back to Summer Potenzas in June

I think tirerack.com has the best deal on the OEM tires. If not please post who might have the best deal.

I think Tirerack does have low prices but after you add road hazard, tire mounting fees, disposal fees, new tire stem fees, shipping fees and so on the price comes very close to what you pay at retail. I did research on it this weekend to see if I could get a better deal on tires and all I came up saving is about $30. The tire shop did mach the price though so I saved $30 but I thought I would save more. So check what the end price is with all the fees at your local shop before you get them at Tirerack, you might save abit by going to the tire shop close to home. Just my 2 cents.

Can you reuse the old tire stems? Most of the local shops will not mount tires they didn't sell you... My biggest concern is the balancing. I never in the past could get someone to do a good static balance with stick on weights.
