front wheels

i apologized if this topic has been discussed -could not find what i was looking for.

i am going back to my summer tires-unfortunelly when i had the winter wheels and tires intalled the shop did not label the front tires right or left -same for the rear wheels and tires.
does it make a difference which side was on previously?I have tried to look for any kind of marking to let me know the rotation of the tire-original OEM tires that came with the car.(2007 g35s summer tires)
thanks for any help- i know that rear and front wheels are different sizes.

the tire tread is usually directional so it matters unless you switch the tires.. you can probably tell which way is forward on the tire if you look at it

thanks for the reply Elyman
but i have looked at everything on that tire including the tread
maybe its me, but there is nothing i see that tells me the direction of the tread, unlike my winter tires which were clearly marked as to the diredction of the tred

if they are not marked as directional then it doesn't matter. as for the rotation. if you miss one is not a big deal at all. just get them marked next time.
