What Are The Widest Size Tires You Can Fit On A 20x8.5 Rim... 265-35-20?? Will That F
Just Was Wondering If A 265-35-20 Tire Would Fit On A 20x8.5 Rim. Please Any Help Would Be Great. I Hear Different Answers??

look at the tire specs and see what size wheel the tires are recommended for. most 255/35s will have a 8.5 wheel on the bottom side of the recommendation. You could mount a 265/35 on an 8.5 wheel and it would do fine safety-wise, but you could potentially have diminished longevity on the tread. Those "width ranges" are recommendations from the factory to ensure proper tire wear.
