havent really had a car with disks all way around. and the dealer wants 75$ each stillen has them for 50-60$. suggestions?

Changed front and rear pads yesterday. OEM Infiniti pads cost $90.00 plus shipping. Car has 34,000 miles on it. Rear pads were almost done, front pads had maybe another 6-8 k left. Rotors were fine.

You use 80% of front brakes on any car. If your getting vibration, its the rotors not the pads (warping). Not to say, your pads probably need replacement but it wont fix the problem. Your new pads will also wear out quicker if the rotors are warped. With that many miles, you should have them resurfaced...no need to buy new unless you want to upgrade to a BBK.

so you say keep the pads? just get the rotors resurfaced and should be set?the pads still have a lot left on there..the brake light does come one once in a while meaning its low.

if you're getting new rotors or resurfacing the old rotors, i would recommend getting new pads along with it, to avoid the rotors from being messed up agian, as the pads might have been glazed, cracked or not properly broken in causing premature decay of the new or resurfaced rotors.
