Stainless Steel Brake Lines

For those of you who have them installed on your 07+ G35 Sedan, is it really worth the money and is there a noticeable difference?
OR is it better to upgrade the pads/rotors?

Stainless Steel brake lines will change the feel of your brakes.

Upgrading pads and rotors will improve performance and heat resistance (depending on pad choice of course).

What are you looking for? A stiffer brake pedal or more braking power?

I just feel like the brakes on my 08 journey lack bite and have the "mushy" feeling when I put my foot on the brakes. They also whistle a lot when slowing down from 40mph, but the dealer said they applied stop-squeal and dont hear any whistling.
A lot of the loaners I've driven which are 07 models, have good bite on their brakes. What do you reccomend Mike, I"m assuming your gonan say G37S BBK.

If you're looking for more bite, get pads that have a stronger initial bite. If you want to reduce brake pedal travel, then get the stainless steel lines.

The BBK is for guys that drive a bit harder than the norm, or want the bling bling status, or both.

Keep in mind that the BBK is now standard on the 09+ Sports

There is no drawback to SS brake lines, no compromise, only improvement.

Not entirely true.

Get the lines that are coated & with sealed boots at the fittings.
Otherwise dirt gets into the braids & causes premature wear & failure.

The other thing with SS lines is when they do go, they rupture which = 0 brakes.
Regular lines get old and stretched & leaky, but they don't often completely fail.

Track cars change lines regularly.
