I think it is good to keep them within 2 % or better.

I have a few conversion tables to calculate this, but here is my favourite one:

Awesome weblink Wayne!!! I understand now. thanks so much! seems like the 245/40/19's are a good match for the stock 17s... 225/55/17's. The difference is only 0.1%

I know.. it was a too good of a deal to pass on.
I was originally looking to purchase brand new set of Yokohama S.drives but the deal on these RE50A RFTs were too good to refuse.

They're actually $404 each for new RE050A RFT in 245/40 19 on tirerack

and had everything mounted, balanced, and installed for $450 out the door.

Good deal, NO?
Very good price indeed, just keep in mind that RFT's tend to ride rougher than their non-runflat counterparts. Otherwise, congrats on the deal!

I've installed Falken 452's ($157 via www.onlinetires.com) on my Nismo 19' rims ($599 via ebay with 25% MS live discount) last week- so far so good. Rained like heck yesterday here in Nashville- no hydroplane on some serious puddles on I-65 @ 75mph.

Sounds like a good deal.

Now we need to see the pics with them installed.

Yes, I have to admit the ride is a lil on the harsh side. But the tires seem to have superb dry performance. No experience in wet conditions yet. I guess you gain some and lose some. Compromise a lil bit of comfort for performance which I don't mind. Plus, the noise and the feedback is tolerable.
