Tire Question

I have a contact that's the head of a Firestone/Bridgestone service center and can get good pricing with him.

In regards to Bridgestone, Tire Rack shows an RE050A and an RE050A Pole Position. The Bridgestone site only shows the Pole Position version, so is this a new model that's going to overtake the std. RE050A tires? Is one better than the other?

I'll probably end up with the RE050A Pole Position. My Kumhos have 16k miles ont hem and the rears are just about on the wear bars, while the fronts still have some tread left. I could probably push the fronts to 25k but the rears are going to be lucky with 20k.
