About to install G37 Sport wheels

Hey guys! This is my first official post on G35driver. Please excuse me since I'm pretty new to this car modding thing. I have a 2008 BO G35S and I'm about to install 19" G37S wheels on my car. Is there anything I should be aware of when I'm installing these?

Do I need to get the car realigned or the wheels balanced? I just want to make sure these wheels don't affect my ride quality!

Thanks in advance!

just make sure you have your tpms sensors put in and just rebalance the wheels for sh*ts and giggles.

You don't need an alignment.
Just make sure the tires are balanced when mounted.
Also transfer TPMS if you don't want the TPMS light to come on like he mentioned above.

GL.

Thanks guys. I guess i'll get them rebalanced just in case.

Is it true if I put the my stock TPMS is the correct corresponding wheel, I don't have to go to the dealer and reconfigure them?

I will definitely take some pictures afterwards.

just put the TPMS on any wheel. Doesn't have to be in the same spot. If when the light comes on, drive a few miles and the light will go away.

congrats on the G and welcome to the forum!

I sold my aftermarket 19s to a buyer off of the forum. He did not even transfer the TPMS from his stock rims when he put my rims on, and the weird thing was that his TPMS warning light did not even turn on.

I was like.. wat the heck?!

That seriously sucks that your first set got stolen! I remember seeing that thread a while back and I felt horrible for you. Times are tough and people are desperate I guess...

Thanks again for the help guys

Yup, when I bought my Set of G37 19's, it came with the OEM TPMS sensors, but just driving around will not clear the Light. Thats the procedure if you had low air in the tires, then after you make it to correct pressure, then you drive around and it will clear. If you got a dirrent set of TPMS with the G37 rims, you half to go to the dealer and have them recalibrate the TPMS sensors to the cars computer. costed me like $60 bucks! or if you can live with the light on it won't hurt nothing!

So post some picks ASAP. and I did not get my tires rebalanced or aligned. All was good just mounting them up right after i got it! Have fun Bro! and put locks on your Rims! I got 2 sets for mine!
