I am in a lot of s*** right now I just ordered tires not to long ago and I think I made a mistake and need some answers asap(sorry if theres a thread out there but im in a panic). I'm looking for an agrssive look and ordered Yokohama S DRIVE with 245/35/19 in the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. But should I change the 35?. I really need some advice and sorry again if this is a repost. Thank You.

how wide are your wheels, offsets? are you lowered (if so by how much). what are you trying to accomplish?

I ordered F 19x8.5 and R 19.9.5 +30mm offset all around and I will drop the car soon about 1.5-2 inches. I'm trying to get an agressive look but not lose, and if possible gain performance in the handling department.

Just for reference,

I ran 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 on my 19x8.5F (+35ET) and 19x9.5R (+40ET) aftermarket wheels. However, you won't have a stretched look w/ this tire size though.

Without more information on your wheels.. we cannot really help much

I think what you meant to order was the 245/40-19 (F) and the 275/35-19 (R). With the 245/35 (F) and the 275/35 (R) that you ordered already, you will have a larger diameter on the rear by 0.8" which may cause the slip sensor to cut power because it thinks that you are sliding more often then it should.

Go to tire rack here for their recommendation which is the largest tire combo that they will guarantee fitment.

As far as rubbing is concerned, I can't say if the +30 offset will rub for sure. I would think not, especially if you will leave the wheel cambered, but there are people here much more experienced with lower offset tire combos.

Ok, Im strating to get it. I found a different tire counter thing a majig. So im fine with the back tire cause at 60mph ill go 59.6mph but the front with 35 ill go 57.8mph but if i go to 40 ill be travling 59.9. Now the negitive part is the speedo will be incorrect, but is there any performance gains?

I believe you will want 245/40 19 and 275/35 19's. I have S.Drives (actually just remounted tonight), mine are however 20's - 245/35 20 and 275/30 20. I love the tire. I ran for 6 months last year. The wear well, look great, corner well and are not loud.

You'r speedo is measured in the rear, so your speedo will not be off. The front tire will just spin at higher RPM's that stock. You should be fine if you already bought them, assuming the widths of your wheel are appropriate for the tire widths: i.e 8.5 front and 10's in back.

I had the stock RE050's replaced with Michelin X-Ice XI2's before I took delivery of the car and they didnt come in a 225/50 so I went with a 225/45 (for the front, the back is the stock 245/45). I have ZERO issues with the .7" difference in diameter.

what if i got 9.5 in the back? and does spining at a higher rpm do anything i.e. slip sensor goes off?

Check out Stardust's reply just before yours. I think you will be fine regarding the slip/traction sensors.

9.5" wide wheel is fine with 275/35 tire.
