Just wondering - how long have your 18" sport tires lasted? Is it safe to assume since we cannot rotate they don't last as long as tires that can rotate?

Since we can't rotate our sport tires, mine lasted 25k (f) and 30k (r) but they were completely shot!!!

Mine are shot at 14k miles. I hear it is 15 on average, some complain they only get 10. Talking about Max Summer Performance. Get the touring models if you want better tread life, but not as fun to drive.

HAHAHA I knew I would get that question. I'm amazed at how people are ONLY getting 10 and 15k out of the Potenzas. I'd say at 25k they all should have been replaced for the safety of me and others on the road. I guess I wasn't ripping up corners or anything on a daily basis but on 3 occasions I just did donuts smoking the tires. And I drive spirited say 50% of the time. I waited way to long to change them out, my slip light came on daily just mildy turning corners. And fortunately I was able to not have to drive in any rain. They were dangerously low, when I went to Discount Tire to get them replaced he said I virtually had no wet traction. Duh! I love the Potenzas, best tire I have ever driven on but costly! I went seriously cheap @ $77 a tire Nexen 3000 to see how much lowering would eat up my tires. I've got 3k on em so far so good. There a bit noisy but I always play my music loud anyway.

Interesting. I bought sport g37 wheels for my 08 Journey sedan. Don't really drive it too hard so to speak - just drive it 'normal.' When I bought the used tires, it had 90 percent tread left. HOw long do would you say it would last estimate wise? I rarely drive in rain since it doesn't rain much out here in LA.

I don't see why you couldn't get 25k out of yours, others have just driving "normal" enjoy the ride and don't be paranoid about your tires.

I got 28,500 out of the Potenzas and never drove in the rain. I replaced them with the same since I got the mileage out of them. Expensive, but if your buying tires at 15k your spending that much anyhow.

Ive got almost 10K on my sport tires and the rear tires are looking pretty sad...The fronts look like they still have 60-70% life left. I drive pretty spirited about 50% of the time...most of my miles are in town as well.

Even though you can't rotate directional or staggered tires, you can always flip the tires from left to right to get a little more life out of the tires.

i got about 16-17k miles out of mine... the fronts look fine, but the rears are BALD!!! i was scared to put them on, after i got a few flats on my 20's.... But it's ALWAYS hot down in the south, and i drive fairly aggressive (quick cornering etc....) I actually got 20's to SAVE me money in tires lol...

I've got 29K on my Potenzas. At 10k, added the Eibachs with -1.6 camber. I'm bald on the insides and need to replace now. Mostly highway miles so that might explain it.

Do you have the front and rear camber kit? Even with a kit the tires still wear on the inside? Are all (4) balding on the inside?

I got 27K out of my Goodyear Eagle F1s and 17K out of the Bridgesones that came with the car. Fronts still have tread but the rears are bald. The Goodyears performed well but were noisy. I do not drive my car hard but I do occasionally get on it. I am replacing the Goodyears with Kuhmo Ecstas. I don't like Bridgestones and refuse to pay over $230 a tire for Yokohamas, I don't need that level of performance. I have never had Kuhmos but my choices are limited if I want to stay with the stock sizes. I wish BF Goodrich made a 225/50 R18 g-Force.
