Would love some help with my Ichiba spacer problem!

it will have the recesses, but that don't mean it still can't contact the wheel in the recesses, factory recesses are not that deep.

another option if you have a machine shop around that will work with you is to bore the recesses a bit deeper in the wheels, usually plenty of room to bore another 10-15mm there without affecting anything else...


damn, that's a really nice crack, great way to make your own multi piece wheels there

OP is using the stock G35S wheels which definitely has the recesses. Moreover, he is using 20mm spacer in the front where the problem is coming from. There are a handful of others running 20mm spacers all around w/no problem with their G35S wheels.

if that's the case then I guess I woulda lost that bet. since everything else is fine though I guess I'd at least look at it to confirm...

I am in Dallas (Plano) and I would be willing to take a look at it. If it is something with the way the spacers are installed, I think it will be pretty easy to see. With that said, I am out of town until early next week. If you would like to swing by on Monday or Tuesday, I am down.

If you are interested, shoot me a PM, and we can try and work out the details. I even have a spare set of wheels and tires we could try....
