Spacer Suggestions for 19 Rays on 08 Sedan

Hey everybody,

I just ordered some OEM 19" rays and I was curious if anyone had suggestions on what size spacers I should use. Some pics would be great too.

However, I haven't lowered my car so I'm not sure spacers would really look right, I just don't know at this point.

Thanks

I think he's talking about the OEM 19" G35 coupe wheels that are manufacturered by Rays Engineering.

Front: 19x8 +30mm offset
Rear: 19x8.5" +33mm offset

OP, these wheels will extend further out than your OEM wheels. If you don't lower your car, I highly suggest NOT to get any kind of spacers.

With the coupe Rays, you HAVE to lower the car and aggressively at that, or it just won't look "right."

Yes, I was referring to the OEM Rays. I sure hope I don't have to drop it for a good look.

Try it out first and see if you like it, but I can almost guarantee that you'll be itching to drop it afterwards..hahahah

Yes, so was I. You have to drop it or IMO it'll look stupid. Since the spokes don't extend out to the lip, they look smaller than they really are. Only a drop will solve that.

I am going along with everyone here and say you'll NEED a drop... at least on Z or Coupe Springs... Then the next question is what type of stance do you want? Super Aggressive with Cambered wheels? of moderately aggressive with your wheels flush to you fenders and alignement to be in spec?

Well, I got the wheels put on today. I really have mixed feelings.

1. The chrome is a little to "bling bling" for my taste. Should have gotten factory finish.
2. The offset put these rims exactly where they needed to sit. No spacers needed.
3. Due to the offset, I was very suprised how much wheel gap disappeared, but I agree it still needs a small drop...the Impul's would be prefect.

Anyone looking to trade 19" OEM Rays for a chromed set??? Maybe they will grow on me. Like I said, it's not terrible but I'm not a fan of the bling.
