I'm on 18.5K miles with my stock Bridgestone Potenza's and started noticing a lot of "woov woov woov" road noise at 30mph and under. There is still some space above the tread markers so how much longer do you think the tires will last? I have 10 months left on my lease and am wondering if I can run them another 8K miles thru my lease-end. Will the dealer charge me at the end of my lease for worn tires? If I'm going to get charged at the end of my lease then I might as well invest now and enjoy new tires for 10 months, right? Or should I wait? Decisions decisions...

Depends on your driving style.
I have about 24k on my car and the stock Potenzas still have a decent amount of tread left.
Not sure about the dealer charging you for the tires at the end of your lease though

whtbst: I have the same woov, woov, woov on my stock RSAs. Started at about 18K too.... Thought something was wrong with suspension/brakes. Dealer checked it twice: diagnosis: Tire wear!!
I don't think I'll make it to lease end - Oct 2010. I'm looking at Pirellis or Yoko Advan S4s. All seasons for me, Im not switching between Summers and Winters..

this might be a stupid question but does the manufacturer warranty cover my tires if after only 18.5K miles they're completely done?
