Hello!

I found a local seller that has a set of wheels that I want... Is there a way to check if the wheels are bent by looking at it? Also, anything else to consider when you buying used rims?

You can take them to a tire shop and they can "spin them" and test balance. They will be able to tell if they are bent if they wobble when they spin them. (I had a bent rim and it cost roughly $100 to fix and it only took them 30 mins).

 

I wish I knew this little earlier! haha.... I almost bought a m45 wheel set and it was bent... (by spinning them)... it was such a deal... I missed it! errr haha time to get a new set..... Thanks for the info!
