245 Front Tires
you guys with the 245 fronts, is there inner rubbing issue? Do you need spacers? I called TireRack and one of the CS told me to be aware of inner rubbing.

Original factory spec is not always optimized for performance. There's always a trade off between performance, comfort, price, etc... Original factory spec is what Nissan feels is the right balance for the marketplace. Oftentimes, it's not the right balance for us enthusiasts.
thank you guys. Just bought the 245 Kumho LX Platinum and installed them on the front. They look awesome!!! Perfect fit and aligned with the wheels perfectly! No rubbing at now. Now i am just gonna wait and see how well these Kumho are.
Use this link to compare different tire sizes that will work: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
Orignal sizes are:
Front 19x8.5 - 225/45R19
Rear 19x9 - 245/40R19
New sizes:
Front and rear both are 245/40R19
Hope this helps.

I am running with 19" wheels on my g, with h&r springs
245/40 up front on 9.5" wheels
255/40 rear on 10"
no rubbing issues, car does grip better on corners but at slow turns does feel a bit "heavier" if thats the word. Just more rubber on the road.
Only drawback is Im on my 2nd set of tires due to my camber being a little off so I had some inside tire wear.

thx man, how do you like ur kuhmo tires? also any adjustment you have to do get to those 19" rims and tires work correctly? and is it true that all 19x8.5 & 19x9 rims will fit our cars (08 G35S)?
The G37 Coupe sport wheels will definitely fit our cars, BUT if you get some other brand, you'll need to determine the offsets and bolt patterns, etc. I am not an expert on wheels, so maybe some other members can give you a better advise.

i love the kuhmo, very quiet compare to the OEM. The best part about them are the tread life, 60,000 miles. There are a lot of good review for them. No. You do not have to do any adjustment; they fit perfectly if you get the 245. However, just keep in mind the G37 Coupe Sport wheels are staggered, so you can't put the back rims on the front.
