Hotchkis sway bar setting
Hotchkis sway bar setting
Just ordered a set od hotchkis bars for my 07 g35s. What setting on rears should I start with, middle? Not sure if fronts are adjustable? I am on Impul springs. Thanks
I think most have it in the middle, which is where I have mine. No problems. You can always experiment, but if you put it on the stiffest setting, just get used to the change before you push the car to it's limits--and even then, I would leave VDC on.
Thanks for the feedback.
I had the car at the road course at Lime Rock and had a bit of understeer unless I was trail braking coming into the corner. The only time I got oversteer with the VDC off was trail braking
Next step may be shocks or r compound tires, but I would like to track the car once I get the sway bars on to judge one thing at a time

Definitely start on a lower setting to get some initial feel for the change before trying full stiff.
Medium should be fine.
IMO, unless you are a true track junkie, stay away from the R-comps to begin with.
They don't help you learn & can be down right dangerous with an inexperienced driver.

I will start with the med setting, definately do not want the car tail happy.
The track days are hard on tires, I have bridgestones on 19" G37s wheels.
Eventually would like to get r cmpds as I get more track experience
