Lowering Kits

Hi there, I'm for sure going to drop my car but I'm debating how much. I know as it is the stock exhaust hangs REALLY low to the ground and I scrap on some bumps in my area. Only thing I'm wondering is which kit provides the best stability along with ride comfort. If someone could tell me the brand name they have, how much it dropped, the price, the ride etc...

P.S. I have a friend who has a mustang with the griggs suspension and he goes to the track sometimes. It seems like he knows what he's talking about but he told me to get a ground control kit if I'm going to lower my car. He told me they're cheap coil overs. Anyone have any thoughts?

are you looking for springs or coilovers? im about to sell an extra set (unopened and new in the box) Tein Hi-Tech springs i have left over from deciding between the s-techs and hi-techs. PM me if youd like. They for sure give you the max conservative drop considering your preservation of ride quality. Im on S-Techs which are significantly lower and i do scrape. with the Hi-techs you shouldnt have that problem unless you're offroading

And why does your stock exhaust hang REALLY low?
At stock height, I can't imagine you having issues with bumps.

Yeah that does sound very odd.. I can't ever imagine any rubbing or scraping with my exhaust at stock height. The first thing I would do is get under there and check things out. Also, wouldn't your bumper take the hits way before it got anywhere near your exhaust.
