It's about time for me to change my tires. I was wondering if anyone has put wider tires on their stock rims. Does anyone have any pics on who it would look if I went that way? Anyone have pics of wider tires on stock rims with it lowered?

You can go a bit wider but don't go wider than the tire manufacturer wheel size recommendations for that tire. There also is a point where performance will start to fall off if you go too wide.

go 235/50/18 in front and 255/45/18 in back. i wouldnt go any wider than that. Sumitomo makes a pretty good cheap summer tire in this size for around 140 a piece on tire rack

how about 225/50/18 and 255/45/18? basically I was to keep the stock front the same cuz it sit pretty tell already for front tires...

 

I left stock size up front but put 265s in the rear. Makes a hell of a difference! I only have minor slip when going wot on take off. I no you can also put 275 and I know someone who put 295s on g37s rims but i wouldnt go that far.
