So I upgraded my 07 Sedans brakes to the g37 Akebonos My rims required a 5mm spacer in the front to clear, So i ordered ichiba v1 5mm spacers, now I want my wheels to stick out a little bit more, but I want to buy 15mm 0r 20mm v2 spacers

My question is will the extended lugs from the 5mm spacers b too long and stick out when i put the v2 spacers on, would like to know before i buy them

yes im a noob & thanks for any feeback

^ your sport wheels cleared with a spacer?
what about wheel weights?

re the spacers,
I ran 15mm front & rear.
You can go more extreme but I preferred a more moderate set up.

Here's a pic

Question about wheel spacers, if I put them on, it's not going to have any effect on how tight my lugs are on the wheels right? As long as I put them on the right torque setting it shouldn't matter. . just wondering :] I feel like if the lugs aren't all the way in, it's going to come undone and when I'm driving 80 on the highway my wheel's going to fall out and I'm going to flip over 2000 times in my car, lol.

Trying to achieve the 'flush' look on the 19" stocks.

what do you mean by "not all the way in"?

Wouldn't the lugs stick out more w/ the spacers on 'em?

Just noticed this part....
Yes they will stick out more than the OE studs that you replaced.
The studs will have to clear the back of the wheel in the pockets between the stud holes.

You can do a rough calc, by measuring the stud length minus 15mm for the new V2s.
Then measure the depth of the pockets on the back of the wheels.

..Thanks

Just wondering, with the sport 18s, how much clearance do think you have; caliper to the rim?
Also, what was your solution for the spare tire?

I would think that the spare would be the same for all G's!

They are different.
Gs with the Akebono brakes have an 18" spare, the others are 17"

Intgr8r,
I calculated that I would need 15mm spacers with stock wheels and ride height all around, but your 20mm spacers on rear wheels look just about right. Is your suspension and ride height stock in above picture?

oops, sorry... that was a typo, I had 15mm f&r (fixed)
& I think it was stock height at that point.

OK, I know I am slow. I am just now getting around to buying spacers. I am changing my winter wheels and tires so I thought it would be a good time to look into 15mm spacers again.

I like Ichiba V2 spacers because they use stock wheel studs (no need to swap studs). Intgr8r, did you use Ichiba V2? pockets on back side of wheel hub were deep enough to accomodate stock studs right?

Any suggestions on where to buy these spacers (forum sponsor maybe?) Thanks.
