hey u guys, sorry to have to revive an old thread, but i finally got some extra $$ and is ready to pull the trigger on dropping my G. I have some finally questions. please advise ASAP.

1. Eibach Pro-kit - i know it is a 1.4 front and 1.3 rear, but does it make the car "look" sag more in the rear? (i like the front to look more dropped than the rear)
2. why most of u suggested the SPC cambers instead of Eibach Pro?

thanks!

1. 0.1" is fairly indiscernible. I don't think it looks saggy based on those i've seen around here.

2. The Eibach kids are, for all intents and purposes, the same as the SPC. The former being cheaper.

For the umpteenth time, the rear wheel arches are lower in the rear. You could argue it has a saggy bottom bone stock. A lot of cars are like that, including BMW. No way is the rear drop more than the front with the Eibach pro-kit.

TERRYCS, which direction does the camber kit move them, positive or negative. What's the issue without the camber kit? weird tire wear i assume.

Bro.. I just got my car aligned and I have eibach pro kit springs... I got the ichiba rear camber kit with the toe bolt. Come to find out I will need the front camber arms. The owner of the show was telling me our cars can only adjust camber/toe in the front, but to get a good alignment if needed u will need to adjust camber, caster and toe. The tech showed me under the car there is no just adjustment for caster. So if you gonna drop your car more than an inch u will need the spc camber arm (kit). Which comes with everything u will need to get back to OEM spec's

so u r saying the Eibach Alignment kit will NOT work, that only the SPC Kit will get back to OEM?

Eibach = SPC, they're one and the same. Open up a box of Eibach's and you'll get an SPC-stamped product, along with SPC instruction sheets.

Thanks! i heard that a lot about Eibach=SPC, maybe i was just assuming, but "broke_as_ajoke" comments made me think that only the SPC kit will get alignment back to OEM. Anyway, false alarm. thanks again.

Sooo purdy!!
I have an 07 sedan that's dropped on Htech's & 19's and also really need to have this done cause my tires are shot... info please, best place to buy and have the SPC or Eibach kit installed, then get an allignment?

*Correction - found out my car has S- techs, no wonder my camber is all off (in my defense, I bought it this way)

^ Check the vendors section, then check those Amazon links above. I got mine from Amazon a while back and they were the cheapest.

For installation/alignment, i suggest checking your local shops if you can't DIY the installation.

The front camber kit (also known as replacement upper control arms, UCA) provides increased adjustment range for caster and camber.

Lowering a car usually increases negative camber, so the new UCA have more positive camber adjustment range.
