lug nut specs?

I've noticed factory lug nuts shape differently than others. The base of the lug nut appears extended deeper into the wheels compare to he regular lug. I wonder will I have to order some special aftermarket lug nuts to replace the OEM or just any aftermarket lug nuts will work? also, what are the spec/size of the threads (12x1.25 or 12x1.5 etc.)? thanks

u want 12 x 1.25 lug nuts. if you're going to use them on stock wheels, i'd go with the stock profile (acorn?).
